The Billtrust Manager of Sales Analytics and Forecasting primary responsibility is to review and analyze reports detailing performance indicators, sales trends, and other sales data-related analysis, providing recommendations as appropriate. The Manager will maintain ownership of Salesforce.com and align the tool to meet the sales team?s needs; this includes developing meaningful dashboards, running reports, and defining the sales team?s metrics on salesforce.com. An ability to prioritize work and provide status updates to the sales team on a regular basis will be utilized. A strong candidate will be the subject matter expert to other departments on sales data management topics.
?Understand and evaluate current process and pipeline metrics and recommend improvements
?Maintain ownership of Salesforce.com and align sales tools to meet business needs
?Create sales reports, spreadsheets and templates quickly at the request of Sr. Management
?Lead the process for condensing, analyzing, and explaining company?s business metrics and analytics
?Lead the statistical analysis on sales performance to drive insights and provide recommendations for the sales teams.
?Develop meaningful dashboards and reports on Salesforce.com
?Prepare regular pipeline reporting for key stakeholders
?Support weekly forecast meetings and publish forecast reports
?Utilize an ability to plan and coordinate resources for sales events, meetings, and functions
?Draft sales metrics and analysis for quarterly business reviews
?5-7 years of success in a sales or financial analyst or forecasting role
?Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
?Deep technical knowledge and Saas or PaaS experience
?Proven background as a contributor to a successful sales team
?Advanced problem solving and analytical skills
?Experience analyzing data in the technology industry
?Proficient with Salesforce.com
?A self-starter with a strong sense of urgency
?Prior experience working in a startup environment
