Kiva Systems is seeking a seasoned Manager of Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning with a proven track record of leadership and transformation within a complex, hybrid "engineer to order" and "make to stock" manufacturing environment. This role will report to the Sr. Materials Manager. Responsible for continuously improving the overall Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning process for Kiva Systems by implementing best practices and driving accountability. Coordinate and facilitate the Demand, Supply and Partnership steps for all products, channels, and facilities. As an integral member of the management team the incumbent will collaborate with key stakeholders within Kiva Systems to implement best practices, develop performance metrics and drive process accountability.
Principal Responsibilities:
Partner with the finance organization to link SIOP process with financial forecasts.
Develop consistent processes and implement best practices in alignment to the SIOP process.
Ensure preparation steps and materials are completed on time to have productive Demand, Supply, Partnership and Leadership Alignment meetings.
Manage the SIOP data / information between various legacy, future Syteline and SIOP reporting systems. Coordinate and distribute SIOP plans to Demand, Supply and Partnership stakeholders during the monthly process.
Assist Sales and Marketing with statistical analysis of leading indicators and market trends. Determine correlation and leading or lagging offsets.
Identify new Demand and Supply forecasting techniques or technologies to improve overall SIOP process.
Drive SIOP maturity and accountability with the stakeholders using APICs tools, training and execution of the process.
Coach stakeholders on SIOP strategies for enabling the business enterprise to respond effectively to the demand and supply variability.
Drive accountability and process improvement based on key performance metrics and targets.
a. Measure and report SIOP Forecast Quality and Bias at the Demand and Partnership levels.
b. Measure and report Supply Plan Quality by plant.
Support the full integration of Operations into the SIOP process.
Manage monthly SIOP process and action plans, issue resolution and tracking.
Highlight process issues and opportunities that need to be addressed. 1
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for the SIOP process.

Education Standard: Bachelor Education
Type: Operations Research & Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or Operations Management.

BS in Operations Research & Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and/or Operations roles
Experience managing forecast systems. - Understanding of materials management practices.
Proven track record in developing world class production and materials planning strategies.
Experience with ERP and supply chain systems (Syteline preferred).
Strong Excel, Access, and Power Point skills.
Proven leadership and team management skills with strong analytical and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to take ownership of issues, to initiate actions, and to take effective decisions.
