Manager of Telephony and VoIP Infrastructure Five9
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED ive9 is looking for a Telephony/VoIP Team Manager who will:
Manage international team of Five9 telephony engineers
Understand Five9 telephony architecture and provide recommendation on improvements
Lead design for datacenter and corporate network environments
Demonstrate customer focused attitude and create win-win implementations for Five9 customers
Understand customer requirements and communicate with business and technical representatives on a Five9 and customer side
Clearly communicate with customer requirements for VPN, Private Line, SIP trunking and other customer setups
Troubleshoot PSTN and IP telephony related issues and communicate results with customers
Maintain 24/7 telephony operation environment in company datacenter and corporate office
Complete design for parts of datacenter and corporate network environments
Analyze history of telephony related incidents, propose and implement preventive measures
Initiate projects for customer experience improvements and Network Operation improvements
Should have experience with architecture and implementations of solutions involving large data centers, interoffice routing plans, site2site VPNs, FWs, monitoring, SIP infrastructure, VoIP troubleshooting, etc.
10+ years of experience as network and VoIP telephony engineer, Cisco CCNA or equivalent. CCNP Voice certification is a desired.
Hands on skills for Cisco IOS and telephony/SIP equipment. Candidate should have an ability to connect lab equipment, make tests and proof of concept.
Candidate should bring examples of their own Project Plans, Network Architectures, Routing Plans, network Diagrams with physical and logical connectivity maps.
Candidate will demonstrate and ability to clearly document solutions with diagrams and proper description
7 years of experience on a service provider or enterprise network in engineering or operations roles
3 years of demonstrated team leadership success with an exceptionally strong data-driven analytical approach towards solving complex challenges.
3 years of experience in customer focused roles such as System Engineering, pre-sales or post-sales technical support for network and VoIP systems.
Knowledge and experience in managing IP PBX solutions, Asterisk solutions, etc.
Experience with TDM telephony. Understanding of Optical transport basics for OC3-OC12.
Experience with incident response, network security best practices, firewalls, techniques for analyzing TCP/IP network traffic and event logs.
Demonstrated knowledge of computer operating systems (Linux, Microsoft) and telecommunication protocols (TCP/IP, SIP, RTP, TLS, etc.) and how they interact.
Knowledge of Linux network functions
