THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED GENERAL PURPOSE: Manages the daily operation of MTN-TV. This includes maintaining schedules, logs, and accounting for all programming. Oversees remotely the Operations group in Holmdel to include the scheduling of the Ops Tech Team. Provides administrative support to the Sr. Managers on the MTN-TV Broadcast Consultant team. Liaison for MTN-TV with all internal partners at MTN.
? Manages and updates the MTNTV Active Ships Report
? Manages content package changes as requested by customers
? Generates MTN TV Content Payable Reports based on Contract with Cruise Lines and Content Providers
? Distributes MTN TV Content Payable Reports and Subscriber Reports to internal and external customers
? Sends RFI to the Sales Department when applicable
? Receives and coordinates activation of Amino transmissions, including request of Bandwidth.
? Manages Cisco receivers? inventory, installed and warehouse equipment.
? Responsible for booking transmission services with Arqiva, Level 3, Globecast, etc.
? Approves invoices from transmission service providers. Generates RFI - if applicable.
? Communicates the Special Events calendar to HES Technical staff (event, start time, end time, technical information, customers authorized). Works closely with Technical Staff to finalize list of events.
? Maintains a close relationship with content providers to properly authorize the transmission of Special Events (ESPN International, IMG, Pitch International, Oceans TV, T.E.A.M., Over The Line, NFL, NBA, etc.)
? Verifies with HES and Santander the availability of antennas, satellite receivers, converters, Sencore, Encoders, etc. for 24/7 channels and Special Events.
? Coordinates various tests with content providers and teleports (HES, Santander)
? Informs upcoming MTNTV installations to Technical Staff
? Coordinates daily activities of the transmission service function on the network.
? Accurately maintains all necessary information on program media and various systems.
? Follows all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure effective results on all workflows.
? Schedules listing service, conditional access, automation and subscription management information.
? Reviews service level reports and takes appropriate action to maintain.
? Schedules recording and playback of live broadcast events.
? Generates reports identifying the media status during various stages in the life of a program, ensuring all program media is accurate and available for broadcast.
? Establishes good working relationship with internal/external departments to ensure timely completion of various tasks.

NATURE OF WORK CONTACTS:
This position reports to the Director of Broadcast Services and interfaces with the following: Programming Acquisitions, IT, Network Control Center, Operations, Contractors and Vendors.
EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
? College or technical school degree.
? 5 -7 years experience within the broadcast industry required (preferably in Operations, NOC and Transmission) or equivalent duties in Cruise Industry.
? Proficient in Microsoft Office.
? Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze relationships between problem components.
? Capacity to identify and prioritize issues.
? Good verbal and written communication skills.
? Must be proactive, resourceful and detail.-oriented.
Travel up to 30%. This position requires flexibility and availability to work any shift including weekends as required to cover shifts in a 24x7 facility. Must have the ability to lift and move equipment up to 40 pounds.
