Position based in Greenville Operations Facility
Job Description
Provides guidance to the operational activities of the audit and compliance teams with the objective of maximizing growth and profitability. Strong leader with proven operational experience.
Position reports to SVP Regulatory Affairs & Compliance. Daily interaction with senior members of company across IT, Software Development, Business Development, Account Management, Finance, and Product Management.
Responsible for leading several operations departments, including Documentation Outreach, Audit and Compliance. Manages organization operations by directing and coordinating activities consistent with established goals, objectives, and policies.
Implements programs to ensure attainment of business plan for growth and profit.
Provides direction and structure for operating units.
Implements improved processes and management methods to generate higher ROI and workflow optimization.
Provide mentoring and guidance to subordinates and other employees. Monitor Medicare policy changes and provide key managers within the organization recommendations on implementation changes needed to support Medicare changes.
Manage compliance services for medical necessity documentation outreach and audit coordination and response services, including suggestions on process improvements, new edits and system changes.
Regular contact with key CMS contacts to build relationship with Medicare and resolve billing or compliance issues when they arise.
Assist Customer service with training on compliance related questions and policies.
Serve as a Medicare Compliance resource for Account Management.
Participate on CEDI Vendor, Open Forum and Provider Outreach and Education Advisory Group calls.
Desired Education & Experience
5+ years of healthcare, medical billing, Medicare, or audit experience or related industry experience
Demonstrated leadership and management roles in previous positions
Proven track record in Operations role, including the ability to improve processes, workflows, and deliver substantial EBITDA savings
Experience in a growth oriented sales and marketing organization
Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
