The Manager of Order Management will be responsible for overseeing the Order Management and Accounts Receivables functions, and providing licensing and order entry support for the Sales and Finance organization on an ongoing basis. This position is a hands-on leadership role, where responsibilities will consist mainly of participating in and managing the day to day order management operations, process development and improvement, coordinating and troubleshooting between internal groups, operational metric development, creation of new frameworks for performance measurement, detailed ad hoc analysis and recommendation of new projects. The position will also be responsible for other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the Order Management team, including responsibility for managing the processing queue of orders, troubleshooting questions, delivering reporting metrics, and ensuring the process is efficient for top results
Development and implementation of new process and key controls related to order management and accounts receivable
Primary point of contact for the Sales and Professional Services organization for issue resolution
Oversee the professional services project billing process
Process complex software term license orders for various types of software deployments
Assist with creation, delivery and management of software license keys for customers
Maintain customer software license system
Track expired customer licenses for decommissioning, coordinating with hosting and support teams
Monthly tracking of customer?s usage, including billing for overages when required
Forecasting billing and collection activity
Monthly/weekly reporting metrics
Other order management duties, as requested
Required Education and Experience:
4 year degree desired; preference will be given to business and/or accounting degrees
4+ years of relevant experience in the software industry, with focus on order entry, sales administration, or contract accounting
2+ years of management or supervisory experience
Excellent time management skills with the ability to adapt, prioritize, and execute to achieve desired results
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to work independently and effectively communicate and partner with all levels of an organization
Salesforce.com experienced required
Advanced Excel knowledge required
Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability leverage multiple internal groups to solve a common issue
