Manager, Partner Technical Enablement, N. America Acquia
Reporting to the VP Global Channels, the Manager of Partner Technical Enablement for North America will drive Drupal evangelism among systems integrators and technology companies, promoting Drupal training and skills development, partner relationship management, and community organization. The goal of this position is to grow adoption and usage of Drupal, to find and develop partner relationships, and to promote and sell Acquia?s subscriptions and services. We are seeking someone with experience guiding, enabling, and auditing partncer teams in implementation best practices as well as developing and delivering enablement activities and materials.
This position would have three key objectives:
? Partner Development: Develop relationships with systems integrators and technology companies in North America to build a robust sales channel.
? Evaluate partners based on SI selection criteria.
? Deliver Drupal and Acquia services training and sales enablement for partners in North America
? Create and deliver program for Acquia practice development within selected partners
? Identify joint marketing opportunities
? Develop localized case studies that to be leveraged by the channel
? Assist with RFP?s and other pre-sales related activities
? Manage forecasting and management of partner development budget.
? Meet established sales goals for subscriptions and services
? Design and implement partner marketing programs
? Training and Talent Development: Develop Drupal talent at all levels of the IT ecosystem, and help partners improve quality of delivery on Drupal projects.
The Manager will:
? Organize public and private training events for Acquia and partner customers
? Create an Acquia-branded certification program
? Initiate partnerships with larger training companies and associations.
? Technical vetting of partner organizations prior to engagement and development of partner-specific training programs
? Community Organization: In order to expand the Drupal community in North America, the Manager will:
? Assist with the organization and execution of Drupal Camps and entities.
? Build a plan to increase fundraising among local partners and SI?s for local events.
? Assist with field marketing and evangelism programs for both Drupal and Acquia, including; email campaigns, partner marketing, customer reference program, development and localization of sales tools.
Skills / Qualifications
Prior experience building, leading and architecting Drupal applications
5+ years consulting experience particularly in blended prime/partner teams
Successfully built Drupal/Content Management practices
Ability to guide technical discussions with both technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to negotiate mutually agreeable outcomes with clients, partners and Acquia stakeholders
Ability to perform complex Drupal development tasks including custom module development using the Drupal API system and hooks from major Drupal core systems
Experience defining and scope a technical solution for large scale Drupal projects
Experience working in a consulting or agency environment with direct interaction with enterprise level clients preferred
Excellent ability to partner with both internal and external stakeholders
Strong leadership and presentation skills
A self-starter with excellent strategic, quantitative/analytic, and project management skills
A passion for innovation, change, and thinking outside the box to propose and implement new methodologies, process efficiencies, and innovative solutions
Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
A team player with a great sense of humo
