ABOUT THE POSITION:

We are seeking a dynamic individual to lead the performance physical therapy team at our world-class facility in Phoenix, AZ.
As Manager, Performance Physical Therapy, the qualified candidate?s responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Assist in the development of Athletes? Performance rehabilitation system in accordance with all local, state, and national laws and regulations, as well as licensing and insurance certification.
Assist the leadership team in implementing business marketing plan to drive business to specific site as advised.
Is responsible for financial statements, including profits and spending of the facility as it relates to the Performance Physical Therapy Department.
Is responsible for assisting Billing Service, as requested, to complete billing in a timely manner
Is responsible for educating sales and marketing, GM, and other staff members in the process of billing for physical therapy services, state laws, and insurance verifications as necessary.
Reviews and evaluates physician?s referrals and patients? records to determine physical therapy treatment requirements.
Performs patient tests, measurements and evaluations and record findings to aid in developing and/or revising specifics of the treatment program or training program.
Administers appropriate treatment as indicated. Instructs, motivates, and assists patients to achieve their goals.
Screens incoming training athletes utilizing FMS and AP UQ/ LQ screening process to determine training level and safety.
Utilizes screening information to develop prehabilitation protocol and interventions if needed.
Appropriately supervises and directs PTA?s or support staff in providing patient care and performance of their job responsibilities.
Records patients? treatment, response, and progress daily within the company? documentation format.
Completes documentation requirements and billing procedures in a timely manner.
Updates treatment plan and/ or reevaluates patients as needed to ensure optimal outcome.
Interacts and consults with other medical services with regard to patients? status.
Develop relationships with outside medical support staff, including but not limited to orthopedic, internal medicine, dental, chiropractic and massage.
The ideal candidate must possess the following education/certification requirements and skills:
Master?s degree or above
Licensed Physical Therapist (PT)
Dual credential PT/ATC preferred
Experience assisting in designing and implementing business marketing plans to drive business.
Proven ability to build relationships within orthopedic, medical support staff, internal medicine, dental, chiropractic and soft tissue therapy community to help drive business.
Strong leadership skills. Ability to mentor and develop staff.
