Lead in-house Photo team responsible for the development and evolution of photography that promotes concepts for our Daily Deal, Escapes, AtHome, National, and Live Event vertical businesses while clearly projecting the LivingSocial brand.
? Provide Photo team with clear guidance and direction ensuring effective quality control measures and technical best practices.
? Manage the photo end-to-end process to ensure high level of efficiency and cost efficacy both internally and externally
? Maintain consistent execution in photography that ladders up to the overall brand position.
? Participate in developing photo solutions based on seasonal concept, marketing direction, and merchandising challenges
? Provide creative thought partnership within creative team, and cross-functionally, to develop creative concepts and strategies that align with overall company goals
? Manage Internal Photography Studio for our 918 F and Online products businesses
? Ensure all business initiatives are delivered on time and support company objectives.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
? Leadership drive and ability to develop team
? Strategic planning and tactical process implementation
? Demonstrated experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Lightroom
? Proven ability to understand and interpret visual presentation direction
? Detail oriented, well organized and able to thrive in deadline-driven environment.
? Ability to work independently while handling a number of projects simultaneously
? Ability to respond effectively and appropriately to creative feedback.
? Ability to produce quality work with aggressive deadlines.
? Self motivated, with excellent communication and sound written skills
? B.A. required
? 2-4 years? experience with photo art direction
? 2+ years experience managing a team
