The purpose of this position is to develop and implement procurement/sourcing processes and strategies for Caradigm. This includes troubleshooting and executing improvements to the current procure-to-pay lifecycle; designing and implementing repeatable procurement and A/P processes; and developing effective relationships with Caradigm?s leadership team to identify opportunities that maximize value through effective procurement strategy and process. These strategies will include the definition of demand and requirements, identifying and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts and partnering on implementation processes to effectively transition to the selected suppliers.
The successful candidate has a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude and will be eager to take a hands-on approach to improve current processes; develop new, best-in-class policies & procedures; and work one-on-one with multiple stakeholders to identify opportunities to utilize top-quality vendors/suppliers while driving down costs.
Essential Responsibilities:
? Identify and execute corrections, improves, and efficiencies in Caradigm?s procure-to-pay processes
? Assume a leadership role in procurement activities, including RFx (request for proposal, information, etc) development and execution, contract drafting, pricing and contract negotiations
? Develop, negotiate, and implement a preferred vendor list with discounted rates
? Manage Caradigm?s travel booking, expense reimbursement, and corporate card programs
? Partner closely with key business teams (e.g. Engineering, Services, Sales & Marketing) to improve business efficiency and effectiveness, maximize accountability, and decrease total cost of ownership
? Articulate, manage, and implement corporate governance standards, including procurement and regulatory policies, travel & expense reimbursement policies, and contract compliance
? Be an active member and participate in the development and success of the Caradigm Finance & Procurement team. Contribute in developing and executing team goals, objectives, and actions that are aligned with the vision and mission of the CFO organization
? Follow market trends and use the knowledge to support internal stakeholders to reduce costs and develop sourcing strategies
? Conduct benchmarking and industry assessments to identify best practices and successfully implement them within Caradigm
? Create and maintain strategic alliances/partnerships and manage supplier management programs by overseeing client/partner relationships, participate in negotiations with suppliers, and develop and maintain close relationships with key agencies
Basic Qualifications/Requirements:
? A minimum of 5+ years of progressive procurement success in a medium-to-large organization
? Bachelor?s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or other related discipline
? Hands-on experience with the full procure-to-pay lifecycle, including SOW development, contract writing/review, PO creation, and A/P processes
? Hands-on experience with procurement and ERP systems. PeopleSoft experience is desired but not mandatory
? A successful track record of vendor/supplier selection and price negotiations
? A great attitude and the desire to make a real, tangible impact to a growing company
