JOB SUMMARYThe Manager, Production and Direct Mail is responsible for the management and successful execution of all print production and direct mail efforts for Recyclebank. Working closely with the Community Solutions marketing team, the creative team, and other members of the marketing organization, the Manager, Production and Direct Mail tracks, routes, coordinates and manages print projects including but not limited to various direct mail campaigns to new and existing clients, print collateral material creation, and reward mailings. The Manager, Production and Direct Mail works directly with the print vendor(s) to ensure timely, accurate, and professional delivery of print projects.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Day to day management of print and/or mail projects
Tracking and reporting on job status and critical dates
Internal routing and approval tracking of projects through print-ready stage
Submission of print job to print vendor(s) and management of deliverables, including variable data and data driven direct mail projects
Prepare, maintain and share timelines and status for projects using SmartSheet or other organizational tool
Follow-up with team members on due dates to ensure deadlines are met
Create and manage all print cost estimates, purchase orders and billing
Perform multiple tasks on strong deadlines in a professional and organized fashion
Maintain digital folder archives
Develop and deploy new processes and tools as needed to optimize direct mail campaign
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
3+? years print traffic experience
Strong project management experience
Bachelor?s degree
Effective communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Display an interest and enthusiasm for the position, company, and industry
Ability to handle many projects at once
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
College degree (BA/BS) required
4-6 years of experience in consumer-facing direct mail, print production or a related field
Proven success in consumer marketing print campaign development and execution
