Position Description
As a highly visible position, the Project and Business Analysis Manager works with an exceptional professional services organization, including project managers, product owners, process analysts and engineers. Our clients trust the project and process analyst to deliver SpringCM as a fully functional, high-value document management solution in a timely and cost effective manner.
The candidate should be someone with significant experience in document and business process management, mature project management acumen, strong background in Agile implementation methodologies, possesses good technical skills and exhibit extreme passion and a sense of urgency for delivering extraordinary levels of client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities / Duties
Work with clients to gather and refine business requirements
Create business process analysis artifacts, including but not limited to use cases, stories, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, process flows and vision scope documents
Plan project execution in terms of sprints/iterations, allocation of resources and scope
Drive project decisions, escalations, prioritizations as need to achieve program goals and objectives
Coordinate project dependencies such as tasks, timelines, resource allocation and risks
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and resolve resource conflicts
Manage capacity plans
Work with team to refine lifecycle best practices and staff development needs
Provide guidance and coaching to project team
Participate in creating test cases as well as provide assistance in UAT efforts
Provide functional inputs to professional service engineers
Conduct effective post-mortem reviews and harvest key areas of opportunity and adapt implementation methodology processes to accommodate the changes
Provide project status reports/briefings to senior professional service managers as well as project stakeholders
Assist with transition from professional services to support
Contribute to a library of internal and customer-facing technical content
Provide training and mentoring as required
Works with pre-sales Sales Engineers to support the sales process as requested
Develop and present change requests for out-of-scope requests
Required Background
7+ years business process analysis experience
3+ years project management experience (Scrum or other Agile experience required)
Ideal candidate will also have 1-2 years of programming experience
Experience scaling Scrum teams and Scrum Master Certification
In depth understanding of document/content management and/or workflow systems and their application to business process improvement
Process analysis experience in invoice approval automation, contract management, travel and expense management, case management highly desired
Experience implementing workflow/BPM software (e.g. Lombardi, K2, Skelta), ECM software (e.g. Documentum, FileNet, MS SharePoint) and/or IDC technologies (e.g. Brainware, DataCap) an important qualification
Other Requirements
Ability to write user stories, requirement documents, functional specifications, test cases and technical reports and procedures
Ability to make formal and informal presentations to technical and non-technical staff
Ability to prioritize work assignments and shift work efforts based on the needs of the department or business goals
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization
Effective use of project management/PSA tools (i.e. MS Project, OpenAir, Tenrox)
Ability to manage 3-5 concurrent projects
Must be able to work independently or as a part of a team and be self-motivated
Ability to work non-standard business hours to accommodate business needs
Must be willing to travel, occasionally
Must demonstrate a high degree of personal and professional integrity
Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Operations Management or related field highly preferred
