This newly created role will be based either in our Corporate Head office located in Newtown, PA or our NYC office.
?This professional will spearhead the company?s development of its first communications program, from the creation of its internal structure and content, to driving EPAM?s messaging and strategy with the press, managing daily PR activities and proactively promoting the company?s thought-leadership to the press.
?This professional will support EPAM?s industry business units to drive awareness of the company?s services, client successes, and deep business and technology.
?The Director will work with EPAM?s senior executives, internal marketing, analyst and partnership teams, thought leaders, subject matter experts, and PR agencies, to produce media pitches, press releases, by-lined articles, social media extensions, and more for business and trade publications. This is a US-based position reporting to the Marketing Director in the Newtown, PA office.

NYC and Newtown, PA.
7+ years of Public Relations experience with an agency or in-house;
Oversee message development and strategy for increasing media relationships;
History of working with technology media and business media;
Understanding of technology in a business environment;
Thinking like an entrepreneur ? smartly, swiftly and differently depending on the situation;
Working closely with the marketing and analyst relations professionals;
Supervising a network of agencies or external PR agency;
Creating and extending PR programs to include blogs, social media and other Web 2.0 technologies as PR enablers;
Strong written and oral communications skills;
Solid writer and critical editor for press materials;
Experience with public relations principles and best practices;
Using social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc., to reach the media and other influencers;
Thrives in a multicultural, multinational workplace;
Ability to work independently in a fast-moving and competitive environment;
Must be able to travel domestically and internationally as needed;
Proven, measurable success in achieving positive PR outcomes.
Create and lead the corporate PR agenda, develop messaging architecture and conduct media training for key executives and spokespeople;
Collaborate with the COO, IBU leads, marketing and, in the future, EPAM?s PR agency, to create news releases, online and traditional press kits, media interviews, press conferences, etc.;
Oversee and respond to incoming media requests, discuss with company executives on best practices and corporate policies; arrange and facilitate media interviews;
Initiate and maintain relationships with industry practice leaders and subject matter experts;
Develop creative strategies to drive press coverage around products and partnerships;
Build and maintain relationships with technology, trade, and business reporters/bloggers in print, broadcast and online media;
Coordinate with marketing teams to develop a PR plan supporting the international rebrand for overall awareness and coverage as well as events and award opportunities;
Monitor the competitive landscape and respond in the press when applicable;
Identify key industry trends and issues of concern to EPAM?s clients for press outreach;
Interface and consult regularly with cross-functional teams across the company as well as with clients and partners.
