We are a fast growing company that has a unique blend of technology and physical services.We are currently looking for a Manager, Quality Assurance in our Fairfield, NJ Headquarters. The position will be responsible for leading the software QA group. This hands-on, technical manager will lead QA teams in validating and enhancing the quality of software developed.
Primary Responsibilities:
Work with QA, Development, and Product Management to deliver high quality features across all ASI technology product offerings.
Manage a local and remote QA team.
Roll up your sleeves (w/the team) to develop and execute Test Plans & Cases that are in-line with the agile development process.
Drive the development of Test Automation where appropriate.
Review agile stories for accuracy and depth, and suggest / make changes as applicable.
Implement best practices in repeatable test methodologies.
Provide leadership and mentoring of staff, while staying up to date with the details of all projects and initiatives. Ensure work is delivered in accordance with agreed scope, time, financial, and quality measures.
Work closely with many other functional groups within ASI (Services, Support, Doc, etc?)
Educational, Knowledge and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor?s degree
Minimum 3 years as a QA Manager working in a software company.
Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience performing QA in the .NET environment including experience with XML and SQL in a SQL Server environment.
At least two years hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as Mercury?s QTP or Microsoft?s TFS. The experience has to extend past simple capture and playback, and include parameterized, data-driven automation.
Conduct manual testing and automated testing.
Able to write complex SQL queries in a MS SQL environment.
Well versed in the use source code control tools such as TFS or VSS.
Demonstrated ability to analyze use-cases to create comprehensive test plans/cases.
Thorough understanding of web-based technologies and applications.
Experience being the Test Lead on past projects.
Experience with agile processes such as Scrum.
Ability to communicate effectively, in English, both verbally and in writing.
Preferred Skills Include:
Experience with SaaS products and multi-tenant architectures.
Experience in testing SharePoint applications.
Microsoft Certified Professional.
Experience with SSAE 16 or SAS 70 Audit processes.
