The Manager of Rebate Systems is responsible for the day to day managing of the Rebate Specialists and Analysts team to ensure accurate and timely data delivery which leads to customer and partner satisfaction. The Manager of Rebate Systems will also be responsible for monitoring and managing the rebate system including but not limited to: terminology, descriptions, sourcing, compatibility of programs and working with the IT team on the technical challenges associated with the system. The manager will need to prioritize the order of manufacturers, coordinate responsibilities, and be the Rebate Team?s first line of defense. This individual should have some automotive incentive knowledge and how the system works. They will be the lead to answer questions concerning how different incentives appear and how should be entered into the system. This manager will be able to instruct, guide and listen to the RS & RA concerns and convey to leadership team.
?Receive and respond to escalated concerns regarding rebates, incentives, data, residuals and APR?s
?Manages the Sourcing, Specialists and Analysts team
?Identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions across and up the management chain.
?Collaborates with other departments, as necessary, to expedite the resolution of problems both data and IT/engineering.
?Ensure customer satisfaction and retention of maintenance customers.
?Supervise Change Days and phone support scheduling amongst the Specialists and Analysts effectively and efficiently to deliver on time and accurate data
?Verify rebate Display Parameters set forth from OEMs, Dealers and Financial institutions.
?Program Description Optimization ? managing how programs are described, developing templates/guidelines for interpreting copy regarding program qualifications and definitions
?Coordinate with Sourcing resources to grow and maintain full data coverage ?
?Working with Operations and IT to prioritize programming needs against other business needs
?Coordinate Rebate training, documenting and testing with appropriate individuals
?Minimum of 5 years? managing remote team members.
?Automotive Rebate and Incentive experience a huge plus
?Management experience with an emphasis on coaching and development preferred.
?Ability to work in a fast paced deadline oriented multi-task team environment in which strong attention to detail is expected.
?Thorough knowledge of all areas of business operations.
?Strong computer skills with heavy emphasis on Microsoft Office programs (word, excel, PowerPoint)
?Proven ability to distinguish between data and technical issues.
?Excellent writing, editing and communication skills
?Strong interpersonal skills with customers and employees
?Effective time management, organizational, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
?Bachelor?s degree in Business or Computer Science, or equivalent training and experience.
