Manager, Sales Development Team AppFolio
Hire, Train, and Manage a team of Sales Development Reps.
Develop Reps into sales-ready candidates for future Inside Sales positions
Create and Achieve Metrics for Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly call and email activities and the corresponding outcomes of discovery meetings and SDR sourced opportunities
Motivate Individuals and Team to exceed objectives through coaching, mentoring, regular broadcast of results, and creative incentives
Hold Weekly Call Listening and Role Playing Meetings to ensure continued Sales Development Rep learning and skill advancement
Create Weekly Pod Race Contests to incent daily and weekly activity levels, and corresponding key Sales deliverables
Regularly report on Team/Individual Results ? Activity Levels, Sales Metric Results, and % of Pipeline and Bookings sourced by Sales Development Team
Work closely with Marketing on defining Campaign follow-up and reporting
Work closely with Sales Managers and Reps to ensure Lead and Discovery Meeting Quality/Quantity and proper follow-up
Identify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of Process, Efficiency and Productivity.
Skills & Knowledge:
Proven experience successfully managing people to achieve performance goals.
5+ years experience in software sales, preferably in CRM or enterprise applications, with a consistent proven track record of over achievement of quota expectations.
2+ years Sales Management experience including proven team management skills to ensure a motivating, great place to work environment.
Strong working knowledge of the features and limitations of Salesforce.com.
Experience managing and improving Sales team KPIs via Salesforce.com and Marketo.
Outstanding communication, organizational and time management skills.
Bachelor's or Master?s degree.
