DescriptionThis position is responsible for leading, developing, training, and supporting the Sales Engineering team. Provide high level technical support to customers, process improvement, and general inquiries. All functions have a strategic goal of meeting sales and market objectives on a monthly and annual basis.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
? Lead a regional team of Pre-Sales Sales Engineers tasked with driving increased sales and revenue through customer and sales associate education of Integra solutions as they relate to solving customer business needs.
? Actively participate in customer pre-sales and post-sales activities.
? Mentor and lead Pre-Sales Sales Engineers through consistent messaging, positive motivation and career development.
? Ensure alignment of Sales Engineers with sales teams and product direction to include building the proper regional technical and product skill sets based on the Integra product portfolio.
? Interface with our customers to communicate product and feature roadmap.
? Broaden customer account penetration through face to face customer meetings with all levels of the organization.
? Work with Regional sales teams on customer and regional priorities.
? Continuously looking to maximize efficiencies and customer coverage.
? Keep informed of market trends and ensure the Sales Engineering teams are current with technical knowledge keep up with the market direction.
? Interface with Integra CPE manufacturers to promote relationship development and resource to Integra sales teams.
Requirements
BS or BA degree in technical field, or the equivalent in training and experience. Substantial knowledge (5+ years) of telecommunications and data. Extensive experience (5+ years) in professional sales and marketing, specifically selling technical services. Demonstrated experience managing employees, specifically within the sales and engineering function. Knowledge of the telecommunications industry through direct or indirect work experience. Demonstrated knowledge of local exchange, long distance and internet markets. Ability to support a team of sales professionals who are making sales presentations to small and large sized groups. Strong analytical, time management, problem solving, prioritization and planning skills. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Computer skills, including spreadsheets, presentation and word processing programs.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Experience using Microsoft Office software programs.
