THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED DescriptionResponsible for the success of the overall sales process for ILEC/PTT Sales within the Wholesale channel including top-line revenue, churn, retention and strategic planning. Establishes sales goals and ensures that assigned account managers are meeting commitments. Ensures steady revenue growth by overseeing the upselling of products and services to existing customers while seeking new opportunities and logos.
BS/BA in Business or equivalent, MBA preferred. 6+ years of telecommunications experience, including 3+ years Wholesale sales experience preferably with a focus on ILEC/PTT business. Demonstrated ability to ensure adequate activity levels of direct reports pertaining to assigned accounts. Demonstrated ability to effectively analyze market trends and to develop sales solutions in a timely manner. Demonstrated ability to hire, train and manage sales personnel. Demonstrated understanding of and ability to effectively utilize sales management software. Strong analytical, time management, problem solving, prioritization and planning skills. Computer skills including spreadsheets and word processing. Exceptional verbal, written and oral communication skills. Ability to travel within the US extensively.
Management Experience within a large carrier, wholesale or enterprise telecom sales organization.
