Reporting to the Vice President of Global Infrastructure & IT, the Manager of Site Operations will oversee day-to-day operations, assume management responsibilities of systems and network engineering resources, and facilitate coordination across teams. The operations manager will be responsible for building, implementing, and managing products and solutions for Bullhorn?s production environment, while ensuring 24/7 availability. The position will require an excellent understanding of the network stack and Linux services. The ideal candidate will have proven technical experience and a track record of management excellence in a fast-paced, SaaS environment.
Provide day-to-day leadership for technical operations team including documentation, project planning, and implementation
Ensure Bullhorn Data Center facilities and Infrastructure adhere to five nines uptime SLAs (24x7x365 days a year power).
Enforce Bullhorn documentation of events related to failure of vendors to meet or exceed SLA?s that are not adhering to optimal HVAC cooling, space management, networking and computing system in a reliable manner.
Work with vendors and key suppliers to ensure service expectations and deliverables are met.
Proactively identify, manage information and resolve quality of service site issues with members of DBA & Business Intelligence, Software Development, Technical Operations & Security & Engineering.
Participate in the evaluation, adoption and ensuing proper documentation of cutting-edge infrastructure technologies to support growth from new business and maintain Bullhorn?s technical lead in its market.
Document, schedule and manage weekly, quarterly, yearly and/or emergency upgrades and routine maintenance of hardware and software systems.
Manage software licensing in the product ion environment.
Enforce that Bullhorn?s BTO group follows production environment requirements to implement and maintain a secure and documented environment free from unauthorized access.
Document and Collaborate effectively between Support, QA and Engineering to effectively manage customer impacting service interruptions.
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent experience required.
Must have proven experience building/managing network administration and systems architecture, as well as hardware and software troubleshooting.
Must have excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills.
Strong Project Management skills both written and verbal communication.
Deep technical knowledge of Microsoft products, Tomcat, Apache, UNIX, Linux, and other related network & storage technologies.
Deep Experience with Nagios, Cacti, Fusion, NewRelic, Puppet, Splunk and performance tuning/policies.
Skilled in general Tech Ops engagement with Customer Service Operations.
Excellent project management skills with ability to prioritize.
Must have SAAS 24x7x365 - (5) Nines Technical Operations experience.
Prior experience managing cross-departmental deliverables.
Must have strong organizational and documentation skills.
