About the Role
The Campaign Manager/Sr. Manager will be responsible for driving high-quality, high-velocity leads for the Bazaarvoice solution among our prospects in North America, and ultimately delivering demand generation campaigns that result in sales and positive ROI. In this role, the manager will design, develop and implement campaigns across paid, earned and owned media channels, work with subject matter experts and internal stakeholders to develop appropriate campaign content, and track and measure all campaign activities to optimize and drive improved performance.
Core Job Responsibilities:
Develop annual/quarterly demand generation plans to support defined business objectives
Manage and deploy quarterly demand generation budget against appropriate, high-performing initiatives
Set-up and deploy all campaign elements through our Marketing Automation System, Marketo, across all paid, earned and owned channels
Orchestrate a cohesive customer experience/journey for specific demand generation and nurture programs via Marketo
Direct our Media and SEM agencies to develop and deploy paid media tactics that drive the most efficient, high-quality lead volume
Develop relevant nurture tracks and triggered communications for prospects at specific points in the sales cycle, to support lead nurture/qualification and sales acceleration
Collaborate with Creative Resource Manager and creative resources/agencies to develop high-impact creative product that generates high-volume click-through and leads
Champion development and coordination of relevant content/assets to support retail campaign initiatives
Collaborate with field enablement teams, product marketing and other internal subject matter experts on messaging for prospects, based on solution offering and sales cycle phase
Measure effectiveness of all campaign initiatives and optimize based on learning
Develop quarterly and monthly presentations to present to key stakeholders re: campaign successes and upcoming initiatives
Infuse best practices, insights and optimization strategies into all campaigns.
The campaign manager will be a self-motivated multi-tasker, comfortable working quickly and with significant ambiguity in a dynamic environment. He/she will relish new, daily challenges and be a creative problem solver and solution-oriented team member. He/she will have strong capabilities in direct marketing, demand generation planning, managing/evaluating creative product to support demand generation efforts, working with multiple stakeholders to gain buy-in and approvals, and planning and executing primarily digital marketing tactics. Operational efficiency is a must, with clear understanding of demand generation metrics, marketing automation program execution, and campaign reporting.
Skills and Experience Necessary for the Role:
5-8 years experience in B2B demand generation marketing, including email, SEM, webinars and digital display campaign planning and execution
2+ years Marketo (or similar) marketing automation software experience
Demonstrable experience planning, building, and executing effective lead nurture programs
Development and optimization of lead scoring models
Collaborative work style; ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
Strong written and verbal communications skills; ability to comfortably develop and communicate plans to marketing leadership, as well as other stakeholders/leaders within the organization
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ask questions and track down answers with confidence, and lead projects/programs with minimal direction
