Manager, Strategy & Business Analysis foursquare
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED We?re looking for a star to work closely with our COO and CFO at Foursquare on strategic initiatives, including strategy projects, leading a company dashboard of key organizational metrics and objectives, tracking follow-up on initiatives across the company, and developing quantitative analysis for use by the Executive Team, the Board of Directors, and our Press and PR team.
This person will have a chance to work on a variety of exciting projects that will be constantly evolving and fresh. The ideal candidate will have a background as a strategy or management consultant, and/or experience with strategy and program management at a fast-growing technology company.

Work closely with the executive team on business analysis and corporate strategy (e.g. board meetings and investor support).
Distill complex data analysis into clear summaries and recommendations.
Own company level performance dashboards as well as work with individual teams to develop their own.
Have a great pulse on how Foursquare is doing across a variety of diverse metrics; the COO should chat with you when he has a question about how key metrics are moving and the ?why? behind the numbers.
Support our finance team on advertising sales metrics.
3-5 years professional experience
2+ years of experience performing quantitative analysis at a management consulting or consumer-facing internet/technology companyExcellent MS Excel and Google Analytics skills
Ideal candidates will have experience with SQL, Hive and clickstream analytics tools (or the ability to learn quickly and get your hands dirty)
Attention to detail and data quality
Knowledge of Foursquare, and an ability to clearly understand and analyze our usage and growth drivers
Must be a self-motivated, team player and be able to work in a small, fast paced, exciting environment
Excellent communication, presentation, prioritization, and organizational skills
Flair for distilling/visualizing data into digestible insights and charts
Experience with process follow-up across cross-functional teams and departments, pestering colleagues, while still being loved by all
Must be a self-motivated team player and be able to work in a small, fast-paced environment without much oversight initiating and driving multiple projects in parallel
OCD perfectionist for getting analyses correct; pragmatist for getting things done on time
