Manager, Systems Administrator Liquid Machines

Responsibilities:
-Support Check Point's customer facing applications and cloud services infrastructure
-Support the MIS Application team and R&D teams with the UNIX infrastructure, software deployment and Problem solving.
-Work to ensure 100% uptime of the critical infrastructure
-Build Linux servers and apply software as needed for the different projects
-Ensure current documentation of the team's projects.
-Participate in 24x7 on-call support
Skills:
-Expert level Linux system administration, Red Hat preferred
-Good working knowledge of Linux based infrastructure systems (DNS, Mail, Proxy)
-Good knowledge of apache and tomcat operation and troubleshooting
-Experience with monitoring systems such as Hobbit, Nagios, or Cacti
-Good knowledge of J2EE infrastructures
-Good working knowledge of webservers load balancers (F5)
-Good understanding of storage systems and virtual environment (VMware ESX, IBM Storage, EMC)
