Manager, Systems Integration (Mergers & Acquisitions)
The Manager of Systems Integration will play a key role in leading post acquisition IT systems integration activities that support the growth of Cvent. This person will be responsible for ensuring that the right integration strategy and measures for integration success are developed based on the intent of the deal. From that point forward this position is responsible for driving the execution of the integration plan as well as managing the long term integration activity.
Managing the end-to-end integration process from creation of the initial integration plan with milestones and timelines required to achieve deal specific value and synergies, to execution of the tactical on-boarding, to providing a clear roadmap for ongoing ownership to complete the integration.
Leading a virtual cross-functional integration team consisting of operational experts, existing Technology employees, and newly acquired Technology employees.
Providing thought leadership and analytical rigor to identify systems integration issues pre and post acquisition, developing solutions, and driving decision making and escalation across multiple stakeholders.
Tracking integration success metrics post close in partnership with the leadership team.
At least 4-6 years of IT systems integration experience, ideally at a consulting firm or in a company known as a serial acquirer.
BS degree in Management Information Systems or equivalent degree/major is required. Bachelors or Masters level degree with a business focus is also desired.
Ability to assess integrations from both a business and a technology standpoint. This includes the ability to interface with executive management and technical engineers alike.
The ideal candidate will have experience designing and executing technology acquisition integration processes for companies with multiple acquisitions per year.
It is essential that the individual selected for this position be able to quickly establish rapport, credibility, trust, and respect throughout the organization at all levels, and be viewed as a team player.
The ability to blend strategic advisory with strong process and analytical skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Self-motivation and the ability to work under minimal supervision are a must.
