Manager, Systems Test Engineering Audience

Job Description

Manage a growing team of Systems Test Engineers located both locally and overseas. Collaborate with multiple departments to specify, schedule and carry out test cycles on complex programmable voice and audio processing integrated circuits. Develop test automation infrastructure to enhance productivity and test coverage. Create detailed test plans for new IC projects. This is a hands-on management position.
Experience, Skills and Education Required

Deep understanding of testing principles and interpreting test results
Experience defining and executing complex system level tests and test frameworks
Understanding of embedded systems architecture
Ability to implement detailed test plans
Working knowledge of serial communications interfaces (I2C, UART, PCM, etc.)
Full proficiency in C and C++
Working knowledge of Perl and Python
Familiarity with Matlab
Ability to fully use a revision control system
Comfortable using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and multi-meters
5+ years experience in an engineering test and/or systems engineering development
3+ years management experience
Excellent communication skills
B.S. in EE/CS required

Experience, Skills and Education Desired

Experience with real-time audio systems in both analog and digital domains
Working knowledge of Linux
Experience managing an offshore test team
