The Manager, Talent Acquisition will be responsible for the overall company wide recruitment strategy. This overall mission will be to create and deploy talent acquisition strategies to strengthen the organization?s capabilities and ensure it has the talent to meet current and future business needs. This will include strategic planning, process improvements, proactive sourcing methods, metrics to evaluate effectiveness, ongoing communication to the executive team, and the use of technology to ensure efficient and service oriented approaches.
The Manager, Talent Acquisition will be responsible for the following areas:
The overall goal of creating a top notch, consistent and effective recruitment function by implementing effective an unique programs to attract top talent throughout the organization
Coach and guide recruiter on priority and direction of hiring and departmental goals
Overall management of recruiting function which includes full-cycle recruiting strategies, guidelines and procedures concerning staffing best practices, systems, and most effective staffing methodology
Maintain up to date knowledge of recruiting issues and trends within Acquia and the Drupal community
Establish rapport with managers, executives and peers
Develop monthly reports and metrics on recruitment initiatives and performance for senior management
Practice full lifecycle recruiting from requisition approval to offer acceptance
Source, identify and recruit professionals across a wide array of verticals and levels of experience
Utilize a variety of creative sourcing techniques including web search, social networks and current technologies
Proactively network with user groups and potential talent by maintaining ongoing relationship
Requirements:
10+ years overall business experience with a minimum of 3 years management experience
Minimum 5 years hands on recruiting experience
Experience creating a recruiting department from the ground up preferred
Broad knowledge and expertise in employment law
Broad knowledge of contemporary human resources practices
Above average communication skills, including the ability to listen effectively, compose reports, and speak comfortably in group settings
Experience working in a software or technology company preferred
Ability to anticipate how business priorities will impact staffing plans long-term
Ability to work across various departments and create strong working relationships with our management team
Must have an eye for talent - Strong ability to screen and recruit top talent
Must have a strong ability to work with speed and juggle multiple priorities
Highly organized, efficient, and manage time effectively
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
Strong networking skills and a broad knowledge of the local market
Be self-motivated with a strong work ethic
Work with HR Director to prioritize and accomplish goals and key initiatives
Work with candidates and managers throughout the entire recruitment cycle
Education/Certificates:
Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related fields
