DescriptionResponsible for the overall planning, development, delivery, maintenance and measurement of Company Technical, System and Process training programs in support of the Service Delivery & Operations Departments. Determine the training needs in alignment with organizational objectives. Responsible for managing technical trainers who develop and deliver training to Service Delivery and Operations employees. Ensure consistent accessible training programs across the organization. Highlights include:
In conjunction Executive Management, Engineering, Provisioning, Corporate and State Operations management, assess training needs of the organization.
Develop and provide work direction in support of training programs and materials required to achieve training objectives.
Provide work direction for a team of trainers
Oversee the execution of all training programs
Oversee the tracking and record keeping process of training conducted
Ensure proper certification is accounted for and participants receive appropriate certification materials upon completion of specified training sessions.
Work closely with marketing & engineering to create detailed training plans for new product roll outs and enhancements.
Primary point of contact for the training of provisioning systems (MSS, TMS, WFM).
Work with Subject Matter Experts on train the trainer, communication plans and training for provisioning and operations focused system enhancements.
Manage the selection, training, development and performance management of assigned staff of trainers.
RequirementsBachelor?s degree in training and development, business administration, or related field
At least 3 years of experience in adult education/training development.
Strong training generalist background with broad and detailed knowledge of organizational planning, training and development.
Minimum of 5 years management experience; at least 5 direct reports
Strong organizational skills and a track record of preparing reports in a timely manner.
Requires frequent use of personal computer, including computerized accounting system, word processing, database and spreadsheet programs.
Public Speaking and formal presentation of information to diverse audiences in diverse settings.
Skills to create a strong, positive presence, provide leadership, credibility and confidence from an audience.
History of successful skills assessment and developing action plans to improve performance.
Priority will be given to those with:
Telecom experience; specifically Circuit Design
Managing Video/WebTraining
