Manager Veterinary Support Putney

Location: Field-based position
Putney is seeking an experienced Veterinary Support Manager to support delivery of Putney?s educational and financial goals and generate awareness of Putney?s companion animal pharmaceuticals; this will be done in collaboration with the Veterinary Support, Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, and Regulatory Affairs teams.
Key responsibilities include developing relationships with and training distributors, buying groups, key influencers, and veterinary students. This individual will work closely with the Distributor Sales Managers, Senior Director of Key Accounts, and Manager Veterinary Support to accomplish these goals. This individual will also provide input on product portfolio development, support sales and marketing efforts, and respond to medical and technical questions (including adverse event reporting in collaboration with the veterinary support and regulatory affairs teams).
This position requires a degree in veterinary medicine and at least five years of veterinary practice experience; prior veterinary industry experience is also required. The ideal candidate will have strong presentation and interpersonal skills, robust industry relationships, including with distributors and key accounts, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with both internal and external teams.
