Infoblox is seeking a web properties Manager with in-depth knowledge of PHP/MySQL. As a Manager of the Web team, the candidate will be working in a LAMP environment to develop, manage, and maintain web applications and systems that support the online digital presence of company. The ability to quickly prototype and work with our marketing group to understand the business requirements and produce designs and implementations is a must.
The hands-on technical manager will be required to lead a group of professional web developers to develop and implement internal and external web applications. This manager will be part of a dynamic IT department with the vision to create a partnership with the business providing cutting edge solutions.
The Manager, Web properties will be a responsible for:
- Leading and Implementing the current Drupal Initiatives
o Migrating websites from CQ5 and Cold fusion to Drupal
o Implementing and migrating Blogs using other blog solutions like Word Press, Drupal
o Developing Multi-Lingual web sites and community sites
o Implementing various web initiatives for Marketing, Sales and Support groups
- Maintaining and enhancing SharePoint (Intranet) (Version 2010)
- Create a coherent, well-developed well-documented and efficiently maintained web environment
- Take projects from concept to release through all phases of development: from functional specifications to successful implementation including unit, performance and scalability testing
- Provide cross-functional leadership to deliver web development services
- Work closely with the various stakeholders to develop a long range plan supporting the needs of the organization
- Ensure users are trained in the tools and that the tools are properly maintained
- Provide performance reports as required
- Develop and enforce appropriate standards and conventions
Skills and Requirements:
The successful candidate must have extensive experience in web environments and working knowledge of JavaScript, Java, Apache and related web components. Familiarity with Eloqua is a big plus. Be able to understand, explain and utilize a variety of web analytic tools.
The Successful candidate should have following skills
- 5 -7 years' experience in a web leadership position
- Experience at leading a group of highly professional people; drive for results
- A ‘can do' attitude accompanied by strong project management and organization skills
- Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented and accountable
- Proficient in SQL, relational databases and MySQL; skill with tools like phpMyAdmin and the MySQL CLI
- Proficient in JavaScript and familiar with AJAX and JQuery
- Agility and experience with PHP, PHP frameworks, HTML/XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, LAMP stack
- Experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) as it relates to website development, integrating free software and third party applications into existing systems
- Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills
- Must be a good team player
Additionally, the following skills are a plus:
- Drupal development or experience managing Drupal developers
- Experience with SharePoint 2010
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2008, .NET development with C#
- Experience working in a SOX environment
- Project Management skills
Education:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related discipline
- Certifications related to web applications development an advantage
- PMP Certification is desirable but not mandatory
