Kiva Systems is looking for a talented and motivated Manufacturing Controller. This person will be responsible for overseeing all finance activities related to manufacturing operations, which includes partnering with the Manufacturing team leaders, strategically managing cost reduction initiatives and responsibility for accounting for manufacturing cost. This position will report to the Corporate Controller.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Monthly financial closing and analysis of inventory and cost of goods sold
Business partner for manufacturing operations and supply chain leadership
Leads strategic activities impacting manufacturing operations
Participates in insource vs. outsourcing manufacturing decisions
Oversees balance sheet integrity and overall compliance efforts
Leads regular standard product review and update process
Budgets and analyzes manufacturing operation expenses
Participates on initiatives related to systems development, implementation, and maintenance
Responsible for preservation of assets / internal controls
Develops and manages cost accounting teams
Manages capital and inventory processes to optimize cash flow
Responsible for financial oversight and technical guidance related to the manufacturing sites
Other duties will be assigned.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting
Advanced business degree and/or business certifications
10-12 years of experience in Accounting/Finance, with at least 3-5 years in a Plant/Manufacturing controllership role
Experience with making strategic costing decisions
Works effectively in a cross-functional environment
Ability to interact with personnel at all levels in the company
Working knowledge of plant enterprise, financial, and Microsoft Office systems
