Description:Position Responsibilities ? Manufacturing Engineer:
Responsible for manufacturing engineering activities on a capital equipment assembly line
Leads continuous improvement projects related to quality, cycle time and cost
Expert in hands on support and training of assembly personnel on equipment assembly
Collaborates with Supervisors and Technicians on the development of assembly procedures, troubleshooting flowcharts and calibration procedures
Performs engineering analysis in support of system improvements, including root cause analysis of complex problems
The Successful Candidate:
Ability and willingness to provide direct hands-on support as required, can be off hours
Excellent team skills with the ability to form solid partnerships across functional groups
Exceptional problem solving and root cause analysis skills
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
Ability to thrive in a fast paced manufacturing environment working on multiple projects simultaneously
Some international travel required (10%)
Required Experience:
Mechanical design, Equipment Assembly, Troubleshooting, Some project management, CAD, MS Office, MS Project.
Required Education:
B.S in Mechanical Engineering or above
