Duties & Responsibilities
This position encompasses multiple functional roles within LitePoint Operations group, this includes but not limited to, process development, training, product launch support, and production data analysis, reporting, and driving improvements throughout the Operations group.
Perform process gap analysis, identify developmental needs, reach consensus, document flow/procedures, perform required training, and ensure disciplined process steps established.
Document and drive maturity into existing processes across the board, from planning, supply chain, production, to product engineering, test engineering, and quality /service functions.
Establish production process controls and its monitoring mechanism.
Develop/identify/improve automated factory data analysis tools, reporting needs; and ensure timely data available to all stakeholders.
Develop new product procedures for factory launch. Perform line training.
Utilize quality metrics in developing, monitoring and improving operational process objectives.
Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required
Few years experience in a technical manufacturing/operations environment as a Process Quality Engineer.
Hands-on electro-mechanical assembly and test background.
Excellent technical writing skills.
Multi facet exposure to operational functions, i.e. process, production, quality, supply chain, and so on.
Able to grasp product and process concepts and ability to convert it into clear process flow, procedures, and other training documents.
Good project management skills, ability to quickly drive issues to closure using available tools and resources.
Well versed in Quality principles, processes, tools and methods. Good understanding of industry standard quality control processes, tools, and inspection techniques. Considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations.
Good interpersonal & communication skills in dealing with suppliers, peers and other functional areas. Ability to present to management in a concise and accurate manner.
Ability to travel domestic or international
Bachelor?s degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
