Operator/production technician needed to support the operation of digital 3D holographic printers. This job site is located within
US Government managed secure facilities in Afghanistan and requires a minimum 6 month rotation.
Essential Job Functions include but are not limited to:
? Prepare consumable materials by measuring and cutting
? Load media into large printing systems
? Operate manual lamination equipment
? Perform quality inspection of holograms against established procedures and criteria
? Complete post-processing work using ovens, lamination equipment, and cutting tables
? Prepare and maintain labels and documentation for order completion
? Perform data entry into Excel spreadsheets and various paper forms
? Maintain organization and cleanliness of production areas
? Interact with customers and logistics personnel
? Monitor inventory and enter replenishment details into local database
? Assist in performing facilities support tasks which may occasionally include moving items, cleaning, and performing
basic maintenance such as replacing lights and filters.
? Prepare, package, label and ship holographic images to field locations
? Track orders and provide daily reports to management
? Adhere to safety and quality policies and procedures throughout production
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
? MS Office including Excel, Word, Mail with an demonstrated ability to learn new applications software
? Good verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills
? Well organized with strong attention to the quality of work produced
? Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
? Dependable, punctual, and energetic with a strong, service driven work ethic
? Flexibility to accommodate changing demands and priorities
Requirements
? 2 year certificate from technical school or 2 ? 4 years related job experience
? Ability to interpret and implement documents such as procedures, safety rules and manuals
? Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
? Military experience with prior rotations in OCONUS operations, specifically Afghanistan or Iraq a strong plus
? Basic knowledge of GIS (Geospatial Intelligence Systems) imaging technology and products, mapping technology and/or application software used by (NGA) image analysts is a very strong plus.
? Willingness to deploy to Afghanistan for a 6 to 12 month assignment
? Must have an active (or recently active) U.S. Government security clearance.
