Document and analyze work processes to improve process flow and process control
Identify server hardware and software failures, and be able to develop corrective action solutions and work through issues under minimal supervision.
Troubleshoot server appliance to component level.
Identify and report non-conforming trends on failed systems and help ensure corrective actions are taken on the highest trends
Use various test programs/scripts for testing
Work with contract manufacturer to diagnose systems failed in automation burn-in
Debug automation test scripts
Create test and quality reports
Consistently reviews yields and develops corrective actions to eliminate any yield detractors, further improves the process and product reliability
Working with design engineering, develop, validate, document and improve manufacturing processes.
Configure and set up test equipment
Provision systems with software and licenses for orders as needed
Complete tasks as directed with minimum supervision
May be required to perform other duties as assigned
Competent in computer hardware and software diagnostic techniques
Demonstrated working knowledge of computers and networking
B.S. industrial, computer engineering, electrical in relevant field preferred
Experience in the manufacturing or computer hardware industry preferred
Knowledge in Linux is a plus
Knowledge in software is a plus (Perl, Php, MySQL)
Excellent computer skills ? Microsoft Word, Excel
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Professional demeanor and attitude
Experience working in a team-based environment, but also able to work independently
Excellent communication skills, both written & oral
