Manufacturing Technician (#101) Aquion Energy
Job Summary: Operates most production equipment; responsible for manufacturing and assembly of blended raw materials and energy storage units. Responsibilities include configuring equipment and calibrating gauge settings, recognizing condition of dies, loading materials onto the equipment, feeding material through die, and positioning and removing parts from the die. Keep and record the number of pieces made and of routine equipment maintenance performed. Reads work schedule to ascertain production information, such as size, type, and quantity to be processed. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Essential Job Functions include but are not limited to:
- Ensuring homogeneity of all blended raw materials through provided work instructions and formulas
- Load, run, and unload production machines
- Perform routine operator level maintenance on equipment
- Understand and record real time data from equipment for process optimization
- Follow and improve upon established 5S program in assigned work areas
- Follow and improve upon established processes and procedures
- Clean assigned work areas daily
- Assist in the construction of batteries in the DOJO area
