Job Summary:
In this critical role, the Manufacturing Technician will participate in the production line in building the Aqueous Hybrid Ion (AHI) battery and energy storage system. Aquion Energy is seeking a highly motivated self-starter to fill a Manufacturing Technician position for our Westmoreland Plant facility. This is a fast paced, high-energy environment where we value team players who pro-actively seek-out work.
Requirements include the following:
1-2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment in mechanical or electrical assembly. Comfortable with a wide variety of manufacturing tasks as well as working with engineers in support of builds of prototypes for engineering development.
Associates degree in Mechanical / Engineering technologies or equivalent Vocational Training is a plus.
Strong working knowledge of mechanical systems with a ?hands-on? approach to identifying and solving problems.
Ability to use basic hand and power tools required.
Ability to effectively use and follow assembly drawings, bills of material, Inspection procedures, and test procedures is required.
Experience configuring and running test procedures, including the generation of detailed test reports, a plus.
Organized, productive, self-motivated individual with excellent attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to Lift 50lbs.
Ability to operate a forklift a plus.
Experience assembling electronic systems a plus.
