Manufacturing technician Fluxion Biosciences

Fluxion Biosciences is a rapidly growing bio-analytical instrument company addressing critical needs in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and life science research industries. We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Associate to join our team located in South San Francisco. This person will be responsible for assembly of BioFlux and IonFlux microfluidic well plate products for use with Fluxion analytical instruments. Tasks will include:



Preparation of molded elastomer compounds, including weighing, measuring, mixing and pouring
Punching and trimming molded elastomer sheets
Application of sealants to bond assembly components together
Use of thermal ovens, UV curing chambers, and other machines for processing well plate components
Assembly of elastomer, glass slide and well plate components into a finished assembly


The successful candidate for this position must meet the following requirements:


Able to perform tasks accurately and repeatably
Able to read, understand and follow manufacturing process instructions precisely
Excellent manual dexterity
Must be comfortable working to a strict production schedule
Mimimum high school education. AA or AS degree highly desirable
Experience in medical device and/or microfluidics manufacturing highly desirable

This is a temp to permanent position. Pay will be based on experience and qualifications.
