Bazaarvoice is looking for a bright and unique Market Development Associate who has influenced the closing of business and understand how to assess a companys needs and cater the outreach to each prospect specifically.
Creativity is vital to this role. We need individuals who are hungry to get out and make business happen, who do not stop when obstacles are encountered, but rather, find an alternative way to break into a company and continually drive momentum. We want candidates whose energy can be felt on the other end of the line: we want ambition.
The ideal candidate will be able to articulate their ability to influence the sales cycle, site examples of shepherding business through a pipeline, is a Bazaarvoice product specialist, and has excellent client facing communication skills.
Snapshot: Market Development Associate
- Being confident in positioning a high-ROI solution that will cost the client over 125,000 per year
- Demonstrating the value propositions of our products and services and being able to deliver that message to different types of clients via webinars, ect.
- Assist in the closing of business with your Sales Director and working in a collaborative team environment.
- Managing the hundreds of suspects in Salesforce.com to accurately and efficiently process all opportunities
- Excelling at qualifying each opportunity properly to ensure the right level of follow through and commitment
- Working with our industry leading partners to drive mutual benefit and lead generation
- Executing at 110 to achieve your quarterly quota of web meetings generated
Skills and Experience Necessary for the Role:
- Bachelors degree, preferably in MIS, Computer Science, or Engineering
- Experience with the Sales Cycle
- Absolute understanding of Bazaarvoices products and positioning within the market
- Experience working with Salesforce.com is a strong plus
- Demonstrated work ethic and consistent over achievement
- Lead generation or sales experience a strong plus
- Selling eCommerce-focused solutions
- The ability to learn quickly and be a self-starter are vital to this role
