The Market Development Coordinator is responsible for the development and execution of Cracked and Indie Click custom advertiser solutions, including packaging, custom pitches and execution. This role involves with numerous business partners and creative resources to conceive, produce and execute robust best in class sales programs. This position is located in Santa Monica, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute go to market strategy for Cracked and Indie Click network, the # 1 way to reach 18-34 year olds, focused on entertainment and lifestyle advertiser categories.
- Serve as the site expert to the sales team.
- Develop pro-active sales programs, collateral and site communications for advertiser outreach.
- Work closely with Product, Editorial, Ad Ops and Ad Management teams to execute programs to insure delivery of business goals.
- Educate and train the sales organization on new ad opportunities, site features and functionality.
- A minimum of 4 years of advertising, sales and/or marketing experience in an agency or media environment.
- Experience developing online marketing or sales programs.
- A passion for ideas and the ability to drive creativity into well-executed programs.
- Understanding of social media, internet, mobile and passion for emerging media formats.
- The ability to work collaboratively across a large, matrixed organization to drive results.
- Analytical skills and the ability to drive programs toward business goals.
- Strong speaking skills and the ability to showcase marketing programs via presentations.
