Who We Want:
Bazaarvoice Media is seeking a motivated Market Development Manager who has demonstrable experience in establishing, cultivating and maintaining relationships with leadership level contacts within the Fortune 500 environment. The desired candidate understands how to assess the needs of a family of Brands and cater the outreach to each Brand/Prospect specifically.
Persistence and attention to detail are vital to success in this role. We need self-motivated, high energy, sales professionals that can think strategically, are comfortable with solution selling, and can create momentum within large and complex organizations.
Key Responsibilities in the Role:
Properly research and catalog contact, account and opportunity information
Work with internal sales teams to coordinate marketing and outreach efforts
Build and execute upon a realistic outreach campaign
Sell digital shopper media and advertising opportunities
Build strategic plans to develop new business and penetrate new markets
Negotiate and close contracts
Skills and Experience Necessary for the Role:
5+ years Market Development, Inside Sales
Experience selling to top brands in verticals including: electronics, home and garden, apparel and consumer packaged goods
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
A proven ability to meet or exceed sales quotas, and the ability to work in a team-selling environment
Entrepreneurial spirit, self-starter

Navigate complex business to source the correct departments, contacts and budgets
Experience working with Salesforce.com or other CRM applications is required
