Reports to: Director, Market Development
There are 3 Market Development Manager positions. Locations: Northeast - United States, Southeast - United States and Midwest - United States.
The position mangages field activities that assist hospitals and key stakeholders to build new and enhance established Lung Cancer Programs and advance the use of the Superdimension ENB portfolio. Key activities include, but are not limited to:
Representing SuperDimension Lung Solutions with key hospitals and physician leaders
Engagement with SuperDimension field sales teams to increase utilization and adoption of ENB
Local and Regional marketing of lung cancer diagnosis and treatments
Proactive communications with local and regional societies and foundations
Public awareness campaigns
Communication with Insurance carriers and employers
Develop a business plan based upon market opportunities and analysis also to include tactics for individual customers.
Work with current Lung Cancer programs on best practices- increasing patient awareness, PCP programs, screening volumes, effective patient throughput, local and regional marketing, and overall program development.
Establish and develop channels of communication between SuperDimension sales teams and external partners.
Advocates SuperDimension to the customers, following company policy with excellence and integrity.
Ability to communicate effectively with excellent written and verbal communications
Strong presentation skills and composure ? Ability to evaluate a business/practice thoroughly and consult on marketing, finance, operational and demographics of current and future Lung Cancer programs
Ability to interpret vendor and/or managed care contracts
Ability to create business tools and resources ? Ability to communicate with all levels of the Covidien organization
Willingness to travel through assigned territory (50-75%)
Proficiency in all MS Office applications (Excel and Powerpoint, a must
Minimum 7 years experience with market development and/or 7 -10 years sales experience
Experience should consist of increasing levels of responsibility with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with physicians, senior healthcare executives, insurer advocacy groups. Additional experience with procedure/product adoption by referring physicians, employer groups is highly desired.
Experience in Healthcare Reimbursement and Contracting, highly desired.
