Responsibilities:
--Achieve quarterly lead generation goals set by management
--Proactively call into accounts on targeted lists by utilizing and maintaining corporate database; profiling companies via research into the following areas: company websites; annual reports; Hoovers, and other company/contact database resources
--Cold calling into targeted "C" level contacts with the goal of completing first level discovery and qualification to determine fit and setting a meeting with a field representative
--Participate in the first 1-2 months of the sales cycle by building relationships with key decision makers at targeted accounts, identifying their project needs and business issues and conducting individual needs analysis; work with sales to nurture prospects that turn cold
--Partner with sales representatives to execute a multi-tier account penetration strategy; maintain strong relationship with sales team through clear communication and follow-up
--Maintain up to date and extensive knowledge on all Zilliant product offerings; ability to effectively communicate Zilliant's competitive strengths and differentiation from competitors
--Overcome objections and effectively communicate Zilliant's value propositions to key decision makers
--Build a business case regarding appropriate product offerings and map those values to meet prospect needs
--Support sales and demand gen activities which may include: call campaigns to maximize lead generation at industry events and trade shows; call campaigns to maximize competitive opportunities; etc--
--Build, maintain, develop and accurately forecast on your prospecting pipeline including performance against assigned quarterly goals; requires little supervision regarding pipeline management
--Track and record all prospecting activities, qualification notes and follow up activities in Salesforce.com
Qualifications:
--Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Marketing & Business
--3 - 5 years of outbound phone experience in sales or lead generation dealing with large corporate B2B sales accounts
--Strong motivation to further career in 2 - 4 years
--Proven track record of building a new prospect base in a B2B selling environment through joint development of account and territory plans and engaging with C-level executives
--Strong qualification and discovery skills; excellent listening skills
--Proven ability to work in a team oriented environment as well as the ability to work autonomously with minimal direction once fully ramped
--Must be detail and multi-task oriented and adaptable to change
--Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed assigned goals
--Enthusiastic professional attitude in dealing with clients and excellent follow-up skills
--Superior and proven time management skills a necessity to meet customer and marketing/sales driven deadlines
--Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
--Tech-savvy with ability to communicate technical product features effectively and efficiently
