POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:APX Market Operators are full-time client service specialists responsible for using installed technology and market expertise to facilitate wholesale electricity transactions across several geographic regions. Operators communicate with our clients via phone and email and ensure the proper flow of information between them and the operator of the electricity grid. Market Operators are also responsible for research and documentation of electricity market changes, product testing and feedback, and the maintenance of Market Operations support procedures.
Upon completion of an eight-week training program (paid), the candidate will work in a team environment on a rotating shift schedule. This schedule includes some nights, weekends and holidays (24/7/365 coverage is necessary). The position is located in San Jose, CA (near intersection of Airport Parkway/Highway 87).
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor?s degree, preferably in Business
Fluent in English
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to react to quickly changing priorities and strict deadlines
Strong analytical skills
High level of attention to detail
Technical proficiency and interest
