NetSpend Direct is an entrepreneurial business unit within NetSpend, with responsibility for growing the company?s online and direct-to-consumer business line including all facets of customer acquisition, strategic partnerships, and servicing customers through web and mobile platforms.

As a key contributor within NetSpend?s Direct team, you?ll be able to define new customer acquisition growth strategies that continue NetSpend Direct?s impressive growth.
This position manages and oversees implementation of B2C direct mail campaigns for multiple card brands. The candidate will be responsible for generating new customer accounts for the NetSpend card brand and other prepaid card brands through direct mail and other direct-to-consumer marketing channels as needed. This role will report to Senior Account Manager, Acquisition.
The ideal candidate will have solid direct mail execution experience, consisting of list/ data sourcing, segmentation, data/list management, analysis and testing.
Aggressively source and test new list/data sources representative of the specific brand?s target demographic, securing lists through list brokers and direct lead data sources. Onboard data/ list partners through due diligence process.
Manage creative development, message and offer testing strategy to optimize response rates. Create test matrix and operational requirements for creative testing.
Maintain frequent communications with List Providers to source new lists, negotiate pricing, execute insertion orders, and provide performance feedback. Ensure List Provider billing is accurate and in accordance with contract/ insertion order terms.
Manage the operational and systemic setup of direct mail campaigns, including list ID assignment, processing instructions and component inventory.
Work closely with cross-functional team partners within Marketing, Creative, Data Analytic and Operations/Fulfillment to implement initiatives and track performance.
Support manager in managing the Direct Mail acquisition budget, forecasts and provide weekly business performance updates for list sources.
Partner with Customer Lifecycle Marketing team to share learnings, leverage creative best practices, optimize early lifecycle conversion experience and performance.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Minimum 5-7 years strong B2C direct mail experience comprising strategy, execution and analysis.
Candidate should possess strong analytical skills, be highly detailed oriented and self-motivated. Should have the ability to work with minimal managerial supervision.
Bachelors Degree, preferably in business or communications.
Multi-channel B2C marketing and lead generation experience with solid direct mail experience and data/list selection and segmentation. Solid direct marketer with hands on experience in managing creatives, test plan design and analysis.
Experience sourcing data/list partners, on-boarding the partners and securing data files to meet campaign execution timeframe.
Experience with subprime and underbanked consumer data sources a plus.
Strong critical thinking, decision making and problem solving skills.
Adept at building and maintain strong relationships with external data/list partners.
Data driven, analytical and comfortable working in a data intensive environment.
