SUMMARY:
The Web Marketing Analyst will provide support in the development and implementation of best practices for site reporting, testing and website marketing analytics and overall performance analyses across all marketing channels. The focus of this role will be to drive a culture of continuous website and marketing program improvement through data driven analysis, reporting and education.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Daily web analytics monitoring (traffic and conversion), identify risks and opportunities, and communicate performance trends with internal stakeholders.
Trend reporting, and pattern identification across all marketing sources.
Responsible for implementation, integration, enhancement and maintenance of web analytics tools & data in partnership with Development & Engineering teams.
Support web reporting & decision making efforts as it relates to marketing programs/campaigns, online initiatives and merchandising strategies via dashboards, scorecards and ad hoc analysis.
Manage multiple analytical projects at a time in a fast-paced, intense, results-oriented environment.
Develop functional tagging requirements for site enhancement aligned with business measurement objectives.
Analyze survey and third party data to find emerging trends to support website behavioral trends.
Demonstrate ownership of data integrity; Ensure that it supports the analyses and recommendations being proposed.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong understanding of B2B sales and marketing processes.
Excellent analytical skills - ability to understand and interpret data within the context of the business - solve problems and distill data into actionable recommendations.
Ability to prioritize and complete assignments accurately and in a timely manner.
Strong sense of natural curiosity and eager to know how things work.
Quick learner, self-motivated, team player.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with different functional areas.
Proficiency in data analysis and manipulation.
Strong knowledge with Web Analytics Tools ? Google Analytics, Omniture SiteCatalyst, Webtrends, etc?
Working knowledge of HTML and Javascript technologies.
Ability to create and amend custom SQL queries (i.e. Joins, Selects, Index, Pivot-tables, OLAP concepts, etc?).
Advanced user of Excel.
Must have 3+ years experience in website analytics, online testing methodologies, and web site usability.
Experience with A/B and multi-variant test design and analysis.
Demonstrated success in a fast-paced environment.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
BA/BS in Business, Economics, Statistics and/or other related degrees
MBA preferred
