Marketing Analyst Kongregate
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED The mission of the Marketing Analyst role will be to maximize the success of Kongregate?s cross-platform efforts. The associate will work on a wide range of programs with a focus on paid user acquisition for web and mobile games. Other responsibilities may include email marketing, lifecycle, social media, and community engagement programs. The position will review large volumes of data on tight deadlines, manage large monthly budgets, and work closely with internal and external partners to coordinate essential timelines and delivery flawless customer programs.
Manage all aspects of online paid user acquisition programs including: new program set up and partner development; acquisition buying (on CPA, CPC, and CPM), trafficking new ad campaigns and creative, campaign optimization and ROI analysis, and creative management (testing and reporting).
Coordinate the company promotional calendar for all online and mobile features.
Support web & mobile game launches across Kongregate & GameStop digital channels.
Own the conversion flow by developing new tests and programs to further improve acquisition channels.
Assist in developing Kongregate's social media presence including updating regular posts and identifying new social media opportunities to drive engagement for web & mobile games.
Assist with the development of Kongregate's email marketing program though sending weekly newsletters, implementing lifecycle campaigns, and identifying and implementing new custom projects to help improve user experience, retention, and monetization.
Work with Kongregate's parent company GameStop for regular promotions including social media, GameStop TV, managing custom in-store promotions, and executing various other promotions to support Kongregatge's web and mobile games. Identify new opportunities to further showcase the Kongregate brand across GameStop.
Coordinate and manage programs for showcasing Kongregate at various shows and events including event planning and supporting other teams to maximize Kongregate's exposure for both web and mobile.
Identify and assist with PR opportunities as they arise.
Manage relationships in a manner acceptable to others and to the organization; adhere consistently with all organizational policies related to our respectful workplace.
Basic and Preferred Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience, preferably in online marketing or digital advertising, knowledge of the video game industry preferred.
Working knowledge of CPM, CPC, and CPA advertising.
Experience using analytical packages (such as Tableau or similar, pivot tables, etc.) and/or basic SQL preferred.
Bachelor?s degree required.
Job Skills and Abilities:
Proficient communication and demonstrated project coordination skills.
Proficient skill at managing multiple projects, teams, and programs simultaneously with attention to detail.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software programs, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word.
