Marketing Analyst Mindjet
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Are you energized by translating raw data into decision-relevant information that makes a difference? Mindjet is looking for a Marketing Analyst just like you to provide key support in our accelerated effort towards analyzing our product offerings, establishing a database of competitive analysis, ownership of marketing team reporting, and providing support and recommendations to our field sales team.
? Provide strategic marketing feedback and make justifiable recommendations for new product/existing product opportunities driven by up-to-date and relevant market and competitive research data.
? Provide data mining and analytical support for market and product segment analysis
? Collaborate with Field Marketing to establish new product forecasts and pricing analyses.
? Work with Field Marketing within the context of Mindjet's Voice of the customer program to conduct focused customer and brand research to enhance product offerings that provide increased benefit to strategic customers. Reposition or exploit product strengths based on analysis feedback.
? Analyze sales and demographic statistics to improve market share and penetration. Recommend activities based on customer feedback and market analysis.
? Perform analysis and research as needed to resolve data discrepancies
? Conduct analysis to assess competitor's products and their marketing strategies, legislation/federal initiatives and market needs/trends to improve our go-to-market strategy, our product positioning and our market penetration.
? As needed or, as opportunities arise, work with Regional Sales Consultant to develop relationships with your assigned product(s)' top customers. Gather feedback from these customers on our products and services to guide the development process.
? Work continuously and proactively towards improving the quality and accuracy of information within customer database.
? Conduct analysis to assess effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
? BS/BA in marketing or related degree, MBA ideal
? Experience with Salesforce.com; Exposure to Marketing Automation (e.g. Eloqua) desired
? At least 3-5 years of experience in a business analyst or marketing analyst capacity.
? At least 5-8 years of related experience in marketing with an emphasis on Product/Brand Management.
? Strong knowledge of data-mining tools such as MS Excel MS Access and Crystal Reports.
? Advanced experience with SQL, Crystal, Macros, Pivot tables and Access
? Understanding of relational databases and some experience working with large sets of data.
? Must be able to translate complex data sets into actionable information.
? Able to understand and support Business Intelligence
? Experience with social media metrics, back-end web trends and Google Analytics
? Strong analytical skills, paired with great attention to detail.
? Ability to prioritize multiple projects, to work independently and as part of a team.
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
? Ability and desire to present polished analysis to senior level managers and executive team.
? Superior organizational and time management skills.
