Marketing Analytics Lead OnDeck
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED OnDeck is looking for a Marketing Analytics Leader that will help shape our direct marketing and customer acquisition strategy across our different platforms ? direct mail, online and phone. You will drive the agenda for marketing data and analytics spanning data architecture and organization, analytics and metrics. As our marketing efforts scale in size and complexity, you will ensure that our analytics, data and software infrastructure scale accordingly.

As an analytics lead at OnDeck, you will:
Develop the use cases for marketing data operations (lead pulls, customer segmentations, customer propensity modeling) and strategy (rest periods, content tagging, offer meta data)
Work with the data warehousing team to drive the design and implementation of the data schema and data infrastructure for marketing
Understand and prioritize marketing objectives and translate them into analytics requirements for modeling and testing. Prioritize these requirements by expected business impact and level of effort and drive consensus across marketing and analytics.
Drive timelines and resources for marketing analytics and marketing data infrastructure projects and initiatives
Identify and acquire additional data sources that will be relevant to our marketing efforts. Build relationships with data providers as needed
Ensure that operational systems track data effectively to ensure that data models are built off clean and reliable data. Work with engineers and product teams across all inbound communication channels as required in order to ensure that
You have 4+ years in a role involving both analytics and business strategy
You have a Bachelors (Advanced degree preferred but not required) in a numerical field (maths, stats, engineering, physics, economics etc)
Comfortable with SQL, and willing to learn about non-relational data stores. Have some programming background (this role will involve only limited programming)
Comfortable with analytical concepts like regression, statistical significance, trade-offs between competing goals
You have great communication skills and are able to articulate both business requirements and technical considerations
You are comfortable stepping into a role where you have to interact with numerous stakeholders, technical and non-technical, and drive an analytics agenda that meets the objectives of the marketing, analytics, infrastructure and product teams
