The Marketing Manager will develop and manage a wide range of marketing activities with an emphasis on executing those projects from beginning to end. This role will impact all major objectives of the company from increasing revenue, client retention, customer acquisition, and revenue and profit goals. This person will manage a marketing budget and 3rd parties as necessary to execute the responsibilities.
Design, develop, and execute a variety marketing projects, from concept through execution.
External Marketing Communications including Press releases (coordinate with 3rd party and internally)
External communication updates - news, events, milestones
Digital and Social Media (working with Online Team)
Marketing collateral (online and offline)
Case Studies and white papers
Identify, plan and budget relevant trade shows and conferences to attend
Develop content and framework for Annual Summit
Provide input and planning for All Hands Meetings, Town Hall
Internal Marketing Communications - Updates about the utility sector, partners, news, events, milestones
Standard utility marketing campaigns that can be executed across multiple partners (e.g. We can Help, It Makes Sense)
Own Marketing and Communications Calendar and Marketing Communications Project List
Identify and track all significant internal and external events, meetings, etc. that everyone should be aware of
Maintain comprehensive project list to ensure all deadlines are met on time, within budget and meet established objectives
Industry intelligence, and market research support
Monitor market and industry news, trends and strategies
Actively contribute to the intelligence of the marketing team and company overall
Outreach to influencers to help build a community of brand ambassadors
Develop and manage external memberships, awards such as Industry research (e.g. Chartwell), Best Places to Work, and Charitable organizations
Develop, maintain and update the company boilerplate
Prepare high quality responses to RFPs, RFQs and other requests either solo or in collaboration
Evaluate programs on an ongoing basis by interpreting data, identifying trends, and making actionable recommendations for continual improvement.
Create marketing plans that include strategies, measurable objectives, and tactics.
Develop in-depth customer and market knowledge. Communicate market needs and opportunities.
Develop short and long-term strategies and plans for creative demand generation marketing programs. This includes on-going market research and needs assessment, share analysis, sales forecasting. Budgeting and pricing sensitivity analysis.
Execute marketing strategies, programs, and pricing strategies which will meet profit objectives for the business unit.

The role will be based in the Atlanta Headquarters building at 4 Concourse Parkway.
7-9 years of marketing and related project management experience.
This position requires travel to internal call centers and customer sites (15-25%).
Sales and Marketing background, Public Relations/Media a plus, MBA a plus
Minimum 4 years? experience - writing in a sales/technical environment
Minimum 3 year?s experience researching and preparing executive level documents
Small business marketing environment
Knowledge of utility industry or equivalent industry
Understanding of digital space and terminology
Experience working with a Sales team
B2B and B2C experience
