Working with marketing to coordinate all activities involved in major tradeshows, including: registration, organization of timelines, budget maintenance, on-site support, attendance and special programs.
Act as the primary contact for exhibits. Maintain relationship and communication with exhibit company and coordinate the shipping of equipment to various locations.
Working with Director of Clinical Education to coordinate activities related to Educational events including: managing registration, planning travel and logistics for attendees, ensuring that all equipment is shipped, on-site management of registration process and course booklets, completing all post-event data entry for compliance.
Surgeon Liaison: under the direction of the Directors of Marketing and Clinical Education, work directly with surgeons to ensure that travel and accommodations are taken care of, assist with ensuring that contracts are executed, invoices are submitted and payments are remitted in a timely manner
Helping marketing to coordinate product development labs by working directly with labs to plan events and ensure payment.
Manage some administrative activities including: marketing team meeting minutes, occasional purchases required for Marketing/Education, manage marketing events calendar, route literature for approvals
Work with the Director of Education to make sure all grants are managed in a compliant fashion, including, but not limited to, managing check requests and payment for all grants, submitting grants to the compliance committee when necessary and tracking spend on grants.
Must be able to operate independently, manage priorities, set and achieve goals, and provide a positive contribution to all marketing activities.
Must be able to professionally collaborate with internal ?customers? (Product Managers and members of the sales department), as well as external customers
Must have prior event management experience
Must have strong writing and communication skills
Experience in healthcare or medical device preferred
Prior experience with ADVAMED and compliance preferred
Must be highly organized with excellent time management skills
Bachelors plus 3 years of relevant experience, or Associates degree plus 5 years of relevant experience required
Some travel required, up to 20%.
