Marketing Associate - Email and Web Operations Care.com

Care.com is looking for a Marketing Associate to join our fast paced Marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work cross-functionally with all internal teams and all levels of the organization, associate through senior management. The primary responsibility will be for development of HTML-based emails and templates, website production, as well as project managing, implementing, and reporting on web and email marketing campaigns.

Specific Duties/Responsibilities:

--Develop HTML emails in web-based email service provider (ESP) platform
--Implement email streams and email blast campaigns
--Generate and update consumer-facing web site content
--Assist with list import, understand customer data attributes, and conduct segmentation
--Prepare reports, conduct analyses, and present recommendations to the marketing team
--Coordinate project briefs, resource requirements and deadlines for web and email campaigns
--Other ad hoc projects as necessary

Skills/Experience Requirements:

--0-3 years of relevant work experience in an internet or direct marketing business
--Analytical approach and ability to creatively solve problems
--Excellent project management skills, including the ability to multi-task and execute efficiently with a close attention to detail
--Experience with developing email or web pages using HTML tools or coding preferred
--Experience with ESPs (e.g. Silverpop, ExactTarget, or Constant Contact) a plus
--Familiarity with SQL, campaign management, or content management preferred but not required
--Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
--A team player with a good sense of humor and strong communication skills
--Intellectual curiosity, passion for problem-solving, and comfort with ambiguity
--High energy and a desire to work in a results-oriented, fast growth environment

Education/Other Pre-requisites:

--Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record
